Nollywood actress and advocate, Anita Joseph, has officially become a doctorate holder after being awarded a Doctorate in Humanity. The actress took to her Instagram to share the exciting news, also revealing that her sister, Evangelist Sandra Nnah, had earned a Doctorate in Philosophy.
In a celebratory video, Anita Joseph announced her new title, urging Nigerians to now address her with respect, humorously saying, Address me well now biko. My Aka has added oh. She also congratulated her sister, as both women marked significant milestones in their academic achievements.
The actress joins a growing list of Nigerian celebrities who have been conferred with honorary doctorates this year. Earlier in December, Yoruba actress Laide Bakare was awarded a Doctorate in Arts & Humanities from the American University of Peace and Governance, USA. Meanwhile, veterans like Adebayo Salami, Jide Kosoko, and Patience Ozokwo received honorary Doctorates in Theatre and Media Arts from Achievers Networks Academy, UK.
