FA Cup: Three Teams Qualify for Fourth Round

Three teams have secured their spots in the fourth round of this season’s FA Cup following the completion of the first batch of third-round fixtures on Thursday night.

Everton: Despite sacking manager Sean Dyche earlier in the day, Everton triumphed 2-0 over Peterborough United at Goodison Park. Beto opened the scoring just before halftime, and Iliman Ndiaye sealed their progression with a penalty in the 98th minute.

Sheffield United: Unfortunately, Sheffield United were eliminated after a 1-0 defeat at home to Cardiff City. Cian Ashford netted the only goal of the match in the 19th minute.

Fulham: Fulham comfortably defeated Watford 4-1 at Craven Cottage. After a goal from Rodrigo Muniz and an equalizer by Rocco Vatta, Raul Jimenez’s penalty and further goals from Joachim Andersen and Timothy Castagne completed the victory.

The FA Cup third round continues throughout the weekend, with the standout fixture being Arsenal vs Manchester United at the Emirates.
