The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced plans to offer candidates of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) an unparalleled registration and exam experience.
In a statement issued by spokesperson Fabian Benjamin, JAMB outlined steps to ensure a seamless process for candidates. This follows the review of the 2024 UTME, where valuable insights were gathered to enhance the upcoming examination.
JAMB is committed to delivering an exceptional UTME in line with the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda. The board has completed the accreditation of centres and prepared sufficient examination materials.
The registration for the 2025 UTME will begin in January 2025. To avoid delays, candidates are advised to create profiles by texting their National Identification Number (NIN) to 55019.
Additionally, JAMB warned against the use of henna (Laali or Lale) on fingers, as it can interfere with biometric verification. Candidates are advised to avoid henna to ensure smooth registration and entrance into the examination hall.
JAMB assured candidates that these measures will provide an examination experience like never before.
