Paul Chukwuma, former National Auditor of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and governorship aspirant in Anambra State, has expressed his delight over the increasing number of aspirants joining the party.
Chukwuma responded to questions from journalists on Thursday regarding the recent entry of Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu and Prof Obiora Okonkwo into APC as governorship aspirants. He said, “It’s a good sign that people now see APC as a strong platform for political contests.”
Chukwuma further emphasized his role in reshaping and funding the party, noting that within 18 to 24 months, the APC has become a major force, attracting new members. He confidently declared, “Our party will win the governorship election in Anambra this year.”
On the new entrants pledging to support the winner of the primary, Chukwuma expressed his satisfaction and confidence in securing the party’s ticket in April. He also added that, if necessary, he would support whoever wins the ticket.
“I have been loyal to the party, and I know my party people will give me the ticket,” he stated.
