Police Hunt Kidnappers of Two Adamawa Pastors

The Adamawa State Police Command has launched a manhunt for the kidnappers of two pastors, Ishaku D. Chiwar and Reverend James Kwayam, who were abducted on Monday in the Fufore Local Government Area of the state.

According to the police spokesperson, SP Suleiman Nguroji, the incident took place at Billa Malabu in Fufore LGA, where the victims’ homes in Hayin Gada, Billa village, Malabu District, were targeted by armed kidnappers around 2:00 am.

In response, the Commissioner of Police, Dankombo Morris, dispatched the Quick Response Squad to pursue the kidnappers, rescue the pastors, and apprehend those responsible for the crime.

Nguroji emphasized that the police are fully committed to ensuring justice and maintaining peace, particularly in safeguarding religious leaders who play a vital role in community policing. He called for public support, urging anyone with information to assist in the swift rescue of the kidnapped pastors.
