Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, has dismissed five commissioners from his cabinet. The move, announced on Tuesday, aims to improve service delivery and address emerging challenges.
The reshuffle is part of the governor’s plan to inject fresh ideas into the government. The affected commissioners include Dr. Jamila Dahiru (Education), Barr. Abubakar Abdulhameed Bununu (Internal Security), Comrade Usman Danturaki (Information), Professor Simon Madugu Yalams (Agriculture), and Alhaji Yakubu Ibrahim Hamza (Religious Affairs).
Governor Mohammed thanked them for their contributions to Bauchi State’s development. He said the reshuffle is routine and will enhance the administration’s effectiveness.
The governor has also forwarded new nominees to the Bauchi State House of Assembly for clearance. They include Hon. Isa Babayo Tilde (Toro), Abdullahi Mohammed (Misau), Dr. Bala Musa Lukshi (Dass), Usman Usman Shehu (Shira), Iliyasu Aliyu Gital (Tafawa Balewa), Prof. Titus Saul Ketkukah (Tafawa Balewa), Hon. Adamu Babayo Gabarin (Darazo), and Dr. Mohammed Lawal Rimin Zayam (Toro).
Governor Mohammed reaffirmed his commitment to improving Bauchi’s development and the welfare of its people.
