KRC Genk chairman Peter Croonen has firmly ruled out the possibility of selling Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare during the upcoming January transfer window.
Arokodare, who has been in stellar form this season, scoring 12 goals and registering six assists in 21 matches across all competitions, has caught the attention of several top European clubs. However, Croonen has made it clear that the 24-year-old forward is not for sale.
The intention is absolutely to keep him. And that will happen, Croonen told DAZN, reinforcing that Arokodare will remain at Genk beyond the winter transfer period.
Arokodare’s performances have been a standout this season, and with interest growing from major clubs, his future has been a topic of much speculation. Despite the interest, Genk remains determined to hold onto their prized asset for now.
