Big Brother Naija Season 8 winner, Kellyrae, has hit back at those claiming he doesn’t deserve the N100 million grand prize, saying those making such statements are not wise.
The controversy stemmed from comments made by some BBNaija participants and fans, including fellow contestant Shaun, who argued that Kellyrae did not contribute much to the show and, therefore, shouldn’t have won.
During a recent podcast hosted by his colleague, Adekunle Olopade, Kellyrae addressed the issue, asserting that critics who doubt his win lack wisdom. He also mentioned his wife, Kassia, and pointed out that even though Onyeka is on bad terms with her, he still acknowledges her talent.
Kellyrae remarked, Even though Onyeka is not on good terms with my wife, she is a very talented person. Just because we’re not on good terms doesn’t mean I should discredit her.
He went on to say, So, I don’t know what some of my colleagues saw in me in the house that made them feel they were more deserving of the prize money than my wife and I. It means you are actually a dull person. You are not wise.
Kellyrae emphasized that personal disagreements should never be a reason to undermine someone’s worth or achievements, reaffirming his confidence in his win.
