Kicking off at the scenic Millennium Park, thousands cheered as officials, athletes, and celebrities carried the baton through the city. The relay will cruise through major Abuja hotspots—including the National Stadium, Jabi Lake Mall, and Unity Fountain—before heading onward to other states.
The event was officially opened by FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, who highlighted the unity and international prestige such activities bring.
