The Bauchi State House of Assembly has approved eight commissioner nominees submitted by Governor Bala Mohammed, following a significant reshuffling of his cabinet.
Governor Mohammed forwarded the list of nominees to the Assembly on Tuesday, and after completing a thorough screening process, the House confirmed the nominees during Thursday’s plenary session.
The approved nominees are Isa Babayo Tilde, Abdullahi Mohammed, Dr. Bala Musa Lukshi, Usman Shehu, Dr. Aliyu Gital, Prof. Ketkukah Saul, Adamu Gabarin, and Dr. Mohammed Rimin-Zayam.
Speaker Abubakar Sulaiman commended the lawmakers for their rigorous and detailed screening. He expressed confidence in the credibility and qualifications of the appointees, noting that their contributions would strengthen the State Executive Council and enhance public service delivery. Sulaiman also urged the new appointees to meet the governor’s expectations and actively work toward the state’s development.
We are confident these nominees will use their expertise to support the governor’s vision and improve the lives of our people,” he stated.
