Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has officially sworn in newly appointed Special Advisers, assigning them strategic portfolios to enhance governance and public service efficiency. The appointments, aimed at strengthening various sectors, were confirmed in a statement by the Governor’s Personal Assistant on Social Media, Mr. Godwin Rimi, on Monday.

Dr. Justina Anjide-Kotso has been designated to the Secretary to the State Government’s (SSG) Office, while Aliyu Safiyanu will oversee Investment. Other key appointments include Haruna Idris for Chieftaincy Affairs, Lawal Yakubu for Public Works, Jibrin Giza for Finance, Gambo Abdullahi for Health, Moses Utondo for Rural Development, and Elsie Monde for Women Affairs.

Additional appointments include Mohammed Shehu Baba as Special Adviser on Political Affairs, Danlami Lawal for ICT, Mohammed Alkali as Assembly Liaison, Ibrahim Shekarau for Education, Mohammed Shege for Mining, Nuhu Bunu for Agriculture, and Jibrin Ibrahim for Civil Service.

Muhammad Abubakar has been assigned to the Governor’s Office, while Mohammed Iyimoga Oyigye will serve as Special Adviser on Special Duties and Agriculture.

Governor Sule emphasized that these appointments reflect his administration’s commitment to strengthening governance, improving service delivery, and ensuring efficient management of key sectors in the state. The new advisers are expected to bring their expertise to drive impactful policies and programs across Nasarawa State.
