Black Galaxies head coach, Didi Dramani, is confident that his side will secure a victory over Nigeria’s Home Eagles in the second leg of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualification. Dramani made his remarks ahead of the crucial fixture at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Saturday.
The first leg in Accra ended in a goalless draw, with Ghana dominating the match but unable to convert their numerous chances. Reflecting on the missed opportunities, Dramani expressed optimism that his team would improve in the second leg and leave Uyo with a crucial win.
We created far more chances and were unlucky not to score. No need crying over spilt milk, Dramani stated during a press conference in Uyo. Tomorrow is an opportunity to get the goals and qualify for the CHAN. It is not going to be easy as there is never any clash between Nigeria and Ghana that can be easy.
Despite acknowledging the strength of the Super Eagles, the Ghanaian coach vowed that his team would raise their game and adopt an attacking approach to secure the win and the much-needed qualification for the tournament.
