Ghanaian-born Nollywood actress Ella Mensah has broken her silence after a four-year hiatus from the silver screen, sharing insights into her life, career shift, and strong stance against domestic violence. Since relocating to New York City, the curvaceous actress has embraced a new chapter, pursuing a fulfilling career as a certified surgical assistant.
Reflecting on her life in the United States, Ella described the move as transformative. “Life has been amazing since I relocated. I’m much happier and healthier. God has been so good to me. Living in New York City has been incredible, and I made the best decision ever,” she revealed.
Despite her newfound happiness abroad, Ella admitted that she will always hold Ghana close to her heart. “I was born and raised in Accra, so I will always miss home. I visited Ghana in July, and it was beautiful to reconnect with family and friends,” she shared.
When asked about her plans for the Christmas season, Ella kept it simple. “My plan is to spend it with my family as always. This time of the year is about love and togetherness, and I want to focus on that.”
Looking ahead to 2025, Ella is committed to personal growth and professional excellence. “I plan to continue with my career as a surgical assistant while setting new goals for myself,” she said, emphasizing her dedication to self-improvement.
Ella’s views on relationships were equally candid and thought-provoking. She vehemently condemned domestic violence, calling men who assault women “evil.” “I will never marry a woman beater. I hate men who beat women. They don’t respect their partners, and I don’t want to be associated with such evil,” she stated firmly.
While physical appearance isn’t a priority for Ella, financial stability is non-negotiable. “I’m rich in my way, so obviously my man can’t be poor. However, I can’t be richer than my man—it’s not possible,” she said with a laugh.
Currently in a happy relationship, Ella gushed about her partner, describing him as “amazing.” Despite being in the public eye, she keeps her personal life private. “I don’t show my relationship on social media because I’m happy in real life. I don’t need to prove that to the world. People assume they know me based on my movies and posts, but if you’re not in my inner circle, you don’t know me,” she explained.
Ella Mensah’s journey from the Nollywood spotlight to a thriving career in New York is a testament to her resilience and determination. Her bold advocacy against domestic violence and commitment to living a life of purpose and positivity continue to inspire her fans and followers worldwide.
