About the Role
We are looking for a dependable and proactive individual to support a CEO by managing transportation, logistics, and personal tasks. This is a hybrid role requiring excellent driving skills, logistical planning, and administrative support. The position demands a flexible schedule, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor to help streamline both business and personal operations for the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
1. Driving and Transportation
- Safely and efficiently transport the CEO, staff, clients, and materials to various locations.
- Plan optimal driving routes to avoid delays and ensure punctuality.
- Conduct regular vehicle maintenance, including cleanliness, repairs, and servicing.
- Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and fueled at all times.
- Be available for driving duties early in the morning, late at night, and on weekends.
2. Verification and Oversight
- Visit project sites, offices, or other business locations to verify task completion and adherence to standards.
- Report any delays, discrepancies, or issues to the CEO promptly.
- Represent the CEO during inspections, staff evaluations, or task verifications when needed.
3. Logistics Management
- Coordinate deliveries, pickups, and the transportation of documents, parcels, and materials.
- Oversee the movement of equipment and supplies for business activities.
- Ensure smooth logistics for business events and operations.
4. Personal Assistance
- Organize and manage the CEO’s daily schedule, appointments, and reminders.
- Handle personal errands, including shopping and parcel pickups.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when managing both personal and business-related responsibilities.
5. Administrative and Communication Support
- Provide the CEO with updates on project progress and task completion.
- Communicate with team members, vendors, and stakeholders on behalf of the CEO.
- Perform basic administrative duties, including document filing and correspondence.
Key Expectations
- Must reside on the Island part of Lagos.
- Be flexible to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and long hours.
- Exhibit a professional and respectful attitude in all interactions.
- Ensure safety, reliability, and punctuality in all responsibilities.
Qualifications and Skills
Must-Have:
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a driver or in a logistics/personal assistant role.
- Strong knowledge of Lagos Island roads and traffic patterns.
- Proficiency in smartphone usage and navigation tools like Google Maps.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
