Key Responsibilities:

Your Key Roles Will Include:
- Manage Petty Cash for Daily Operations:
- Ensure that funds are available for operational expenses, petty cash needs, and emergencies at Rainoil stations and depots.
- Maintain Transaction Records:
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions, including disbursements, payments, and receipts, ensuring they are easily accessible for reconciliation.
- Expense Retirement and Reconciliation:
- Process and track expense retirement ledgers to ensure the proper accountability of cash advances.
- Reconcile received cash against recorded expenses, ensuring no discrepancies.
- Cash Request Management:
- Create and maintain records of cash requests and disbursements for easy monitoring and management.
- Payment Processing and Receipt Issuance:
- Ensure smooth and efficient processing of payments and issuing receipts for various transactions.
- Track Cash Balances:
- Regularly check the cash balance to ensure the records match the actual amounts received and paid.
- Bank Cash Management:
- Collect money from the bank for safekeeping before reimbursements, ensuring proper security and documentation.
- Documentation and Filing:
- Maintain and file all documents relating to cash payments and collections for easy reference and future audits.
- Handle Inquiries:
- Respond to queries regarding cash approvals, payment limits, and deadlines for expense retirement, ensuring transparency.
- Imprest Account Management:
- Oversee and retire various imprest accounts, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare Financial Reports:
- Prepare daily and weekly collections and payment summary reports for review by the station supervisor to ensure smooth financial operations.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must have a strong financial background and be meticulous in managing accounts and cash transactions.
Required Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- BSc/HND in Accounting, Banking/Finance, or Economics.
- Experience:
- At least one (1) year of work experience in a similar role. Experience in financial management or petty cash handling will be an advantage.
- Skills:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) to manage and track transactions effectively.
- Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Location Preference:
- Candidates must be based in or willing to work at the specified locations, including Ore Town, Osogbo, Oghara, Ikom, Calabar, Awukuzu, and Auchi.
