A one-storey building at No. 2A, Abike Sulaiman Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, was engulfed by fire, as confirmed by Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA).

LASEMA responded to the emergency after receiving distress calls at around 12:57 p.m. The fire response team was swiftly activated from the Lekki Base. Upon arrival at the scene, emergency personnel discovered that the building had been severely affected by fire.

Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported. Thanks to the joint efforts of LASEMA and other responders, the fire was successfully contained and prevented from spreading further.
