Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has appointed new leaders to strengthen his administration. The changes aim to improve governance and drive development.
The governor named Ahmad Muhammad as Special Adviser on Works. Muhammad has vast experience, having served as chairman of Dawakin Tofa Local Government and as APC State Organizing Secretary. He will focus on improving infrastructure in the state.
Malam Sani Abdullahi Tofa will serve as Special Adviser on Special Duties. Tofa is a respected figure with a strong background in Sharia law and public service. He has also served as a permanent secretary and director-general of the state Shari’a Commission.
Ibrahim Jibrin Fagge was appointed Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission. Hajia Ladidi Ibrahim Garko will lead the Civil Service Commission. Both Fagge and Garko were former commissioners for finance and tourism.
These appointments highlight Governor Yusuf’s commitment to building a competent team. The new officials will be sworn in today, alongside seven other commissioner nominees recently screened by the Kano State House of Assembly.
Governor Yusuf continues to focus on good governance and sustainable development for the state.
