The announcement was made by Rahila Aliyu Muktar, the Executive Secretary of the Kano State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (KACHMA), during a visit to the Controller of Corrections, Kano State Command, Ado Inuwa. According to a statement from the Command’s Public Relations Officer, CSC Musbahu Lawan Kofar Nasarawa, Muktar reassured the Controller of the state government’s commitment to supporting inmates’ medical needs.
Inuwa expressed his gratitude for the initiative, acknowledging that the healthcare scheme would not only improve the well-being of inmates but also help in their reformation and rehabilitation.
