Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has reshuffled his State Executive Council with several key appointments and reassignment of commissioners. The changes were announced in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula-Mohammed, on Monday. Alhaji Malik Anas, a newly appointed commissioner with an MBA from Bayero University, Kano, will now head the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning. He was previously the state’s Accountant-General. Alhaji Bello Kagara, the former Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, has been reassigned to the Ministry of Finance. Alhaji Bashir Tanimu, formerly the Finance Commissioner, now heads the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs. Alhaji Yusuf Rabi’u-Jirdede has been moved from the Ministry of Special Duties to the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Investment. Meanwhile, Alhaji Adnan Nahabu will oversee the Ministry of Special Duties, after being transferred from the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Investment. Governor Radda has charged all the newly appointed and reassigned commissioners to uphold excellent service delivery in their new roles.
