Nigerian Fuji legend, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, known as KWAM 1 or K1 De Ultimate, is grieving the loss of both his mother and ex-wife within days of each other.
His mother, Halima Anifowoshe, passed away at the age of 105. KWAM 1 shared the heartbreaking news on his social media, posting a photo of himself with his mother and captioning it, “Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi Raji’un. RIP Mama.”
Just days earlier, the Fuji musician lost his ex-wife, Alhaja Hafsat Ajoke Anifowoshe, who passed away following an undisclosed illness. She was buried in Lagos according to Muslim rites.
In response, Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, expressed his condolences on X, offering sympathy to KWAM 1 and his family during this challenging time.
