The Kwara State Police Command has pledged to apprehend those responsible for the murder of Abdulrazaq Ajani, a retired controller of works, in Ilorin. Police spokesperson DSP Toun Ejire-Adeyemi provided an update on the case, assuring that the authorities are working diligently to identify and arrest the perpetrators.
In a statement issued on Friday, Ejire-Adeyemi confirmed that no arrests have been made yet but emphasized that investigations are in full swing. “The Kwara Police Command assures the family that those involved in this dastardly act will be made to face the full wrath of the law,” she said.
Ajani, who was tragically murdered on Wednesday, was reportedly followed to his home by four young men. The incident took place in the Tanke area of Ilorin, shortly after Ajani and his family had returned from Offa, their hometown, where they had celebrated the New Year.
