In an X post marking his 60th birthday, Kyari shared, “Allah, by His grace, spared my life to this exceptional day, making it my 60th year from birth, even much earlier on the Hijri calendar.”

Kyari thanked his country for providing the opportunity that allowed him to rise through the ranks. He also expressed gratitude to Presidents Muhammadu Buhari and Bola Tinubu for giving him the honor of serving as both the last GMD of NNPC and the pioneer CEO of NNPC Ltd.

Reflecting on his life, Kyari acknowledged the highs and lows of his journey, saying, “Reflecting backwards alone can’t account for the profoundly eventful life I spent to this date, walking through good and bad times, travails and triumphs, pains and happiness, fails and successes and many more that only the sufficiency of Allah will explain.”

He pledged to serve with even greater conviction in his role, hoping for eternal reward. Kyari also thanked his family, friends, colleagues, and teachers for their support throughout his journey.

As he reached this milestone, Kyari sought forgiveness from anyone he might have unintentionally hurt, recognizing this moment as a turning point in his life.
