Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal has firmly ruled out any possibility of ever joining Real Madrid, dismissing any speculation about a future move to the club’s biggest rival.
Speaking in an interview with Mundo Deportivo, Yamal made it clear that a switch to Los Blancos was out of the question. “Real Madrid move one day? No way. No chance. Impossible. Real Madrid, no,” he said, shutting down any potential links.
The 17-year-old has been one of Barcelona’s brightest talents since making his senior debut in August 2023. His performances have earned him a regular place in both Barcelona’s starting lineup and the Spain national team.
Yamal played a crucial role in Barcelona’s campaign last season, helping the team secure a second-place finish in La Liga. His contributions also extended to the international stage, where he was instrumental in Spain’s victorious Euro 2024 campaign.
This season, Yamal has continued to impress under manager Hansi Flick, registering five goals and ten assists in 21 league appearances. His explosive dribbling, creativity, and vision have made him a key player for the Blaugrana despite his young age.
Currently contracted to Barcelona until June 2026, Yamal’s comments reinforce his loyalty to the club, making it clear that he has no intentions of ever crossing the divide to their biggest rival.
