Heartland FC has announced free entry for their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday 26 encounter against El-Kanemi Warriors at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri, scheduled for Wednesday (today).
The club made the announcement through a brief statement on their official Facebook page.
The statement reads:
“Free Ticket Alert: Sequel to the payments for 500 free tickets by the Hon. Commissioner for Sport, Hon. Obinna Onyeocha, and the payment for 1000 free tickets from Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, the gates have been delivered free for today’s game against El-Kanemi Warriors.”
The gesture is expected to attract a large turnout of home fans to support Heartland as they seek victory.
Emmanuel Amuneke’s team has had a mixed season so far, recording eight wins, eight draws, and nine defeats from 25 matches.
Despite their struggles, Heartland will aim to bounce back after their recent defeat against Niger Tornadoes. The Naze Millionaires currently sit in 14th place on the NPFL table with 32 points.
