Pastor Lazarus Muoka, the General Overseer of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry, has urged Nigerians to turn to God in these difficult times. He spoke at the Mgbidi International Crusade in Imo State, stressing that the economic struggles in Nigeria are part of a global issue. He encouraged Nigerians to stay firm in their faith and trust in God’s promises.
The crusade, themed What God has determined shall be done, returned to Mgbidi after a four-year break due to insecurity in the Southeast. Holding the event in his hometown allowed many people to attend without traveling far. Muoka compared this return to the biblical “Bethel,” a place of divine encounter.
Muoka called the current crisis a wake-up call to seek God’s mercy. He said the solution lies in understanding God’s plan for the end times. Seek His mercy and draw closer to Him, he urged. He reminded attendees that no one can change what God has decreed.
The crusade also featured powerful testimonies. Esther Benyah from Ghana shared her story of transformation. She turned from prostitution to education after being taken in by a retired teacher. Her story highlighted God’s power to change lives.
The event also saw miraculous healings. One man, deaf and mute for years, regained his hearing and speech after prayer. Pastor Muoka confirmed that these miracles showed God’s power.
The return of the Mgbidi Crusade brought hope to many. Pastor Muoka concluded by urging everyone to return to Bethel and stay strong in their faith. He encouraged them to trust that God’s plan will unfold as He has determined.
As the crusade ended, attendees left with renewed faith, knowing God’s promises will come to pass.
