Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Tiwa Savage has sharply criticized her ex-husband, Tee Billz, following his attempt to sever her relationship with fellow musician, Wizkid. In an emotional outburst, Tiwa revealed that before their marriage, she had made it clear to Tee Billz that her musical career would be a priority, and she sought his support in her ambition to become the Queen of Afrobeats. She had insisted that he refrain from interfering in her musical affairs, to which he agreed.

In a candid statement, Tiwa said, “Before I ever agreed to marry you, I made it clear to you that it would be on the condition that you will not interfere in my musical business as I was putting in the work to be Queen of Afrobeats. You agreed and promised to be my all, supporting me to the very end as it would be a win for you too to be the man of the Queen of Afrobeats.”
The singer went on to express her disbelief over her ex-husband’s request, highlighting the role Wizkid plays in the Afrobeats industry. “I was really surprised at you asking me to stop talking to Wizkid, the king of Afrobeats. How do I become a queen if I don’t keep in touch with the king?” she questioned, adding, “Is it that you weren’t man enough to keep your words?”
