President Bola Tinubu has praised Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State for his transformative leadership, particularly in leveraging technology for educational and security advancements. During a state visit to Enugu, Tinubu highlighted the Governor’s efforts to modernize the state, emphasizing the use of high-tech solutions in education and security.
The President inaugurated several key projects, including the Command and Control Centre and 150 high-tech surveillance vehicles. Tinubu commended Mbah for steering Enugu towards 21st-century development and noted that his leadership serves as a model for involving private sector expertise in governance.
Mbah expressed his commitment to turning Enugu into a $30bn economy within the next few years, with a focus on security, education, and infrastructure. He detailed investments in AI-driven security systems, including statewide CCTV surveillance, to ensure safety and foster investment in the state.
