Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, and Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, have expressed their condolences over the death of Tayo Oluwatuyi, an influential public servant from Ondo State.
Governor Abiodun, in a heartfelt condolence letter to Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, described the death of Oluwatuyi as a significant loss to both the government and the state. He praised the late Oluwatuyi as a brilliant administrator and dedicated public servant whose contributions were both remarkable and enduring.
I am deeply saddened by the news of the demise of Mr. Tayo Oluwatuyi, a consummate public servant, thoroughbred professional, and highly conscientious individual whose imprints and strides in and out of the government in Ondo State have been nothing short of phenomenal, Governor Abiodun wrote. He extended his sympathy to the Ondo State Executive Council, the family, and friends of the deceased, urging them to find comfort in his legacy of service.
Similarly, Governor Sanwo-Olu, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, described Oluwatuyi as a passionate and dedicated public servant whose work positively impacted Ondo State. He commended the deceased’s patriotism and his tireless service to the people of Ondo.
Governor Sanwo-Olu also expressed his prayers for the eternal rest of Oluwatuyi and for comfort for Governor Aiyedatiwa, the Ondo State government, and the deceased’s family and associates in the wake of this irreplaceable loss.
