APC Will Sweep Kano in 2027, Says Hadejia Jama’are RBDA MD

The Managing Director of Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority (HJRBDA), Rabiu Suleiman Bichi, has confidently predicted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will dominate the votes in Kano State during the 2027 general elections, with President Bola Tinubu securing a resounding victory in the state.

Speaking at a dinner organized by the Coalition of APC Youth Movement (CAYM) in Kano, Bichi criticized the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) for its declining popularity, attributing it to unpopular and anti-people policies. He emphasized that APC’s support base in Kano is growing, as the party is already mobilizing voters for the upcoming elections.

Bichi also expressed concern over the current state government’s actions, particularly accusing them of abandoning initiatives introduced by former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and undermining the state’s economy through controversial property demolitions. He described these actions as destructive, highlighting the damage to properties worth billions of naira within days of the new administration taking office.

Bichi assured that the people of Kano are dissatisfied with the current administration and are eager to vote them out, pledging strong support for APC in the 2027 elections.
