Abdullahi Ganduje, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has dismissed Rabiu Kwankwaso’s political influence in Kano State. Ganduje declared that Kwankwaso’s Kwankwasiyya movement has lost its support base in the state and that the former NNPP presidential candidate should prepare for a rude awakening in 2027.
Speaking at the 8th and 9th APC Kano State House of Assembly Forum Dinner, Ganduje, through APC Chairman Abdullahi Abbas, stated that those who once supported Kwankwaso are now regretting their decision. He added that without internal APC issues, Kwankwaso would not have won any elections in the state.
Ganduje also urged APC members to unite, emphasizing that the key to reclaiming Kano from the NNPP in 2027 lies in solid unity. He predicted a victorious election, likening it to moving a hen away from its eggs, and expressed confidence that the right time for the party’s resurgence is near.
He criticized the current government’s leadership, claiming it is distorting the state’s progress, and reassured APC members that God has already intervened to bring about change in Kano.
