Joe Igbokwe, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, has expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu is destined to remain in power until 2031.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Igbokwe emphasized that Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 election, where he defeated Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), marks the beginning of an extended leadership tenure. Tinubu is expected to seek re-election in 2027, which would lead to a final four-year term lasting until 2031.
Igbokwe advised other presidential hopefuls aiming for the 2027 election to abandon any plans, asserting, If any presidential candidate is dreaming of winning presidential elections in 2027, I will advise that candidate to perish the thought till 2031.
He further stated, PBAT is destined to remain in the seat of power till 2031. He needs eight years to set the record straight.
